The Royal Jewelery Museum of London, in its latest exhibition, unveiled a rare 18-carat Colombian emerald.
This gemstone, which is over 300 years old, was previously kept in the private collection of one of the European royal families and is now being displayed publicly for the first time.
The emerald was mined from the ancient Muzo mines in Colombia and, with its deep green color and exceptional clarity, is considered a rare and valuable specimen in the world of gemstones.
The display of this emerald is part of the museum’s efforts to familiarize the public with the history and beauty of rare gemstones.
